Good stuff, Jan.

I'll leave my thoughts about the game to myself.

Thanks. BTW, in case I haven't said it, the contrarian view is fine by me. Makes us think differently about the team, it's make up etc., which fosters good dialogue and conversation. So thanks again for weighing in on the various topics daily.

If we all agreed all the time it would get boring around here.

The one thing I will say is about the contract, or lack of one, affecting Lundqvist play

Thats a load of BS, everyone in the NHL, in every fanbase, in the Rangers organization, including Sather and Lundqvist, knew he was going to get paid a hefty amount, no matter the current state of play.

The rags were in a position where they couldnt afford to let him walk, and IF he did decide to test FA, the hurricane of dollars hitting him in the face once he opened the door would have knocked him on his royal arse

Jan, the most another team could have given Hank was 7 years, only we could have given him 8

I am as pro-Lundqvist deal as you can get, but I don't believe he gave us much of a discount.

I think he could have gotten 7 years 65 million on the open market maybe? instead of 7 years 59.5

Nick Kypreos said Philly would have eclipsed $9MM in an offer for Hank. Whether that is supposition on his part or based on information from actual sources he didn't elaborate on. However, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility if they, or another club had done just that.

Just realized no Falk or Dorsett tonight so the Rangers have zero muscle in the lineup

Such a low energy period by the Rangers so far. Buffalo has had the better of the play.

Nice way to end an otherwise listless period for the rangers.

I' like to see a video compilation of that breakout move which led to the goal, I swear we've done it a few times now and scored a few times too

I missed it, was nodding off, almost fully asleep.

Nice to come out like that against a vulnerable team.

Vulnerable is a great description of our team too
